Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Aminu Datti Ahmad has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Barebari, the beloved mother of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD, CON.
Hajiya Safara’u passed away at the age of 93, leaving behind a legacy of strength, wisdom, and community service. She was not only a mother to Governor Radda but also nurtured generations of leaders, including the Village Head of Radda, Alhaji Kabir Umaru Radda, and Hajiya Hauwa’u Umaru Radda, former wife of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
Commandant Ahmad described her as a woman of integrity and perseverance whose values will continue to inspire many. He extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Radda, the bereaved family, and the people of Katsina State, praying for Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannatul Firdausi.
