— House Key, Dividends, Awards Highlight Eventful Gathering
KATSINA — In a spirited show of accountability and commitment to personnel welfare, the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC held its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cooperative and Credit Society on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Held at the NSCDC State Command Headquarters, the AGM served as a platform to present the financial report and review the Society’s activities for the 2024 fiscal year.
The Commandant of NSCDC Katsina Command, Commandant of Corps Aminu Datti Ahmad fsf, MADM, FCAI, who also serves as the Cooperative’s Patron, applauded the leadership of the Society for its “laudable achievements” and innovation in advancing the welfare of its members. He urged non-members of the Corps to take advantage of the numerous benefits the Cooperative offers, while charging officials to remain honest, transparent, and member-focused.
In his opening remarks, Cooperative Society President CSC Aliyu Jamilu BK expressed deep appreciation to the Commandant for his support and non-interference in the Society’s internal affairs. He highlighted the Society’s financial strength, accomplishments, and the challenges encountered during the year.
The event wasn’t just about numbers — it was a celebration of commitment and loyalty. A house key was presented to one lucky member, while awards were given to the longest-serving member, the highest saver, and a standout member who has never taken a loan. Members also received their 2024 dividends, marking the Cooperative’s financial viability and transparency.
The occasion reaffirmed NSCDC’s dedication to the financial empowerment and personal development of its personnel — with Katsina Command setting the pace.
