The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Katsina State Command, led by Commandant of Corps Jamilu A. Indabawa, hosted a significant visit from the Commandant General of the Katsina State Hisba Board, Dr. Aminu Usman (Abu Amar).
The meeting, which took place at the Command Headquarters in Katsina on Tuesday, 20th February 2024, aimed to foster collaboration between the two security agencies.
Dr. Aminu Usman expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the role of the Hisba Board in addressing moral decay and social vices, which contribute to insecurity in the state.
He highlighted the establishment of the board by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda PhD, as a proactive measure to combat these challenges.
Seeking assistance and cooperation, Dr. Aminu Usman called for the sharing of credible intelligence with NSCDC Katsina Command to effectively promote peace and morality in the state.
In response, Commandant Jamilu A. Indabawa commended the visionary leadership of His Excellency and pledged continuous support, cooperation, and collaboration with the State Hisba Board to fulfill its mandate.
The meeting underscored the importance of inter-agency cooperation in tackling insecurity and fostering a morally sound environment in Katsina State.
