In a significant move to bolster inter-agency cooperation, the Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Jamilu Abdu Indabawa, today welcomed the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) RS 1.3 Katsina Sector Commander, CC A Ma’aji, at the NSCDC State Headquarters.
The visit, part of FRSC’s familiarization tour, aimed at reinforcing joint efforts between the two agencies to ensure enhanced safety and security for the people of Katsina State.
During the meeting, Commandant Indabawa praised the strong relationship between the NSCDC and all security agencies in the state, highlighting the ongoing collaboration with FRSC in joint operations and special assignments.
“The NSCDC is committed to working closely with FRSC to ensure the safety and security of Katsina’s residents,” Indabawa remarked, emphasizing the importance of a united front in tackling security and road safety challenges.
FRSC Sector Commander CC A Ma’aji, in his remarks, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated the importance of continued support from NSCDC.
He noted that the collaboration between the two agencies has been crucial in achieving FRSC’s mandate of saving lives and protecting properties. “We look forward to even greater synergy as we work hand-in-hand to improve safety and security across the state,” Ma’aji stated.
The visit marks a renewed commitment to cooperation between the two agencies, with both leaders expressing confidence in achieving even greater results through a strengthened partnership.
