The Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad joined top dignitaries at the funeral of Hajiya Safara’u Umaru Bare-Bari, the mother of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, in Radda, Charanchi Local Government Area.
The solemn event drew high-profile attendees, including Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, alongside Deputy Governor Mallam Faruq Lawal Jobe, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura, Secretary to the State Government Barr. Abdullahi Garba Faskari, members of the State Executive Council, and Head of Civil Service Alhaji Falalu Bawale.
Also present were the Emirs of Katsina and Daura, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and Alhaji Faruq Umar Faruq, as well as APC State Chairman Alhaji Sani Aliyu, local government chairmen, and district heads.
The Chief Imam of Katsina Central Mosque, Imam Gambo Mustapha, led the funeral prayer, which was attended by a large gathering of sympathizers from across the region.
The NSCDC Commandant extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Radda and his family, praying for Allah’s mercy upon the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.
