NSCDC Commandant Ahmad Vows Tougher Security in Katsina

In a decisive move to fortify security in Katsina State, Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad fsf, MADM, of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC presented his letter of credence to Governor Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, at the Muhammadu Buhari House.

During the ceremony, Governor Radda expressed gratitude to the NSCDC Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for appointing Commandant Ahmad to lead security efforts in the state. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the NSCDC in combating crime and ensuring safety for citizens.

Commandant Ahmad conveyed the CG’s appreciation for the state government’s collaboration and pledged unwavering dedication to safeguarding lives, property, and critical infrastructure. He emphasized that Katsina would no longer tolerate criminals, warning vandals, saboteurs, and other lawbreakers to vacate the state immediately.

In a post-meeting statement, the NSCDC boss unveiled strategies to strengthen surveillance, intelligence gathering, conflict resolution, disaster mitigation, and stakeholder engagement. He urged citizens to report suspicious activities to the nearest NSCDC office to enhance proactive responses.

Commandant Ahmad’s leadership promises a fortified Katsina where safety and security take center stage.
