The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, paid a high-powered operational tour visit to the Katsina State Command on Saturday, May 3, 2025, urging officers to intensify efforts in protecting critical national assets and infrastructure.
Warmly received by top brass including the ACG Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma of the College for Peace and Disaster Management (CPCDM) and State Commandant Aminu Datti Ahmad, the CG toured key facilities within the CPCDM and unveiled a newly constructed ultra-modern photo stand and Rapid Response Squad center.
While addressing officers and men of the Command, Dr. Audi praised their resilience and professionalism but charged them to double their efforts in upholding the Corps’ mandate amid growing security challenges. He stressed the need for stronger synergy among sister agencies and issued a stern warning against fraudulent recruitment practices.
“We are not recruiting at the moment,” he stated emphatically, warning that any personnel found engaging in scams would face serious consequences.
He also reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to improving staff welfare, operational efficiency, and ethical standards.
