The Katsina State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Commandant of Corps A.D. Moriki, has paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration with key stakeholders in tackling security challenges across the state.
During the visit at the State Secretariat Complex on Friday, Commandant Moriki reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing intelligence gathering, routine patrols, stakeholder engagement, and inter-agency coordination to ensure peace and stability in Katsina.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for his administration’s continued support to the Corps, including the approval of 10 operational vehicles, provision of office accommodation for the Safe School Response and Coordination Centre, and plans for an additional office structure to address space constraints.
Responding on behalf of the SSG, the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and Security, Geologist Aminu Tukur Ingawa, commended the NSCDC’s proactive efforts and reiterated the Radda administration’s resolve to deepen cooperation among security agencies for a safer Katsina.
