In a major breakthrough for security forces, several notorious bandit leaders operating in Katsina State have surrendered and laid down their arms following a sustained military offensive.

The criminals, long responsible for terrorizing Batsari, Safana, and Jibia Local Government Areas, include Abu Radda, Umar Black, Abdullahi Lankai, Jijjige, and Dabar Musa Dan Gandu—all infamous for orchestrating deadly attacks and kidnappings in the Jibia axis.

Military intelligence sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama that relentless airstrikes and ground operations left the bandits with no option but to seek peace and voluntarily disarm. Security forces are now processing their surrender as authorities push for lasting peace in the region.
