The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has requested a permanent team at the Dangote Refinery as part of its crude oil supply agreement.
According to Devakumar V.G. Edwin, Dangote Group’s Vice President (Oil & Gas), the NNPC plans to station 6 to 10 staff at the refinery to oversee crude supply, production, and the Naira-based product buy-back.
“They’ve asked us to provide office space as they take a hands-on approach to the entire process,” Edwin revealed, marking a new level of collaboration between the refinery and NNPC.
