
Over 10,000 Internally Displaced Persons, Refugees and migrants will benefit with digital services capacity building Programmes in Nigeria.
The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, Kashifu Abdullahi stated this at launching of a capacity building Programme for IDPs in Abuja and environs.
The NITDA DG further stated that, the capacity building in digital skills is meant to empower the IDPs to become self reliant.
He said NITDA in partnership with the National Commission for Migrants, Refugees, and Internally Displaced Persons will harness the present administration ‘s digital Nigeria Master plan.
The Federal Commissioner for National Commission for Migrants, Refugees, and Internally Displaced Persons, Hajiya Iman Suleiman said the Programme was timely as it would assist the IDPs to be useful members of the society.
Iman Suleiman said the training would be in batches.
