Executive Director/CEO of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), Nonye Ayeni, has announced a stellar performance for the country’s non-oil sector, revealing that exports hit US$3.225 billion in the first half of 2025 — a 19.59% jump compared to the same period last year.
Ayeni, in a post on her official X account, also disclosed that export volumes climbed to 4.04 million metric tonnes, highlighting Nigeria’s growing success in diversifying its revenue base away from crude oil. She described the second quarter as “strong” and expressed optimism for sustained growth through the rest of the year.
