The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) is in mourning following the demise of former president Ali Ciroma. The sad news was confirmed by a family member and Secretary of the Borno State Council, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ali Ibrahim Ciroma.
Ali Ciroma, a respected unionist, breathed his last at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, on Tuesday. His contributions to the labor movement and dedication to workers’ rights will be remembered and honored.
The NLC extends heartfelt condolences to the family and colleagues of Ali Ciroma during this difficult time.
