In a groundbreaking announcement, Mathew Adepoju, Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), revealed on Wednesday that Nigeria will send its first citizen into space.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, Adepoju hailed the collaboration as a historic milestone, marking the 25th anniversary of Nigeria’s space exploration journey.
“This initiative opens new doors for scientific research and technological advancement,” he said, highlighting the immense potential for the nation’s future in space.
