In response to the tragic loss of Customs Assistant II Auwal Haruna during a brutal attack at Katsina’s Gamji Makaho checkpoint, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) condemns such violence against its personnel.

Comptroller General of Customs (CGC) Bashir Adewale Adeniyi extends heartfelt condolences, emphasizing collaborative efforts with security agencies to apprehend the perpetrators. CGC Adeniyi states, “Violence against our officers is utterly unacceptable,” reaffirming the NCS’s commitment to border security and officer safety.
