The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Sokoto State Branch, has commended Gov. Ahmad Aliyu of Sokoto State over appointment of members into various positions in the state government.
This is contain in a statement signed by Branch Chairman, Rashidat Mohammed, made available to the Newsmen on Sunday in Sokoto.
” On behalf of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto Branch, we extend our most sincere appreciation to Gov. Aliyu on appointing our esteemed colleagues in both public and private bar to serve in various committees, commissions and agencies in the state.
” The gesture underscore governor’s commitment to fostering a just, inclusive and progressive society.
” It also reflects the high regard your administration places on the role of legal professionals in governance and State development, ” She said.
Mohammed further described the appointments as testament of Aliyu on upholding the rule of law and ensuring that the voices of legal professionals are heard and decoded in decision-making processes that shapes our dear state.
” The NBA Sokoto Branch remains committed to supporting your administration’s initiatives and will keep on working collaboratively to build a secured, lawful, and prosperous Sokoto State of our dream. It is a privilege we would not take for granted.
