Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central has resumed her legislative duties with fiery resolve, declaring that no Nigerian lawmaker is superior to another.
“It is good to put institutions to the test; no one is more Nigerian than us. Senator Akpabio is not more of a senator than I am, and he treated me like I was his servant. We cannot cower in the face of injustice,” she stated boldly.
Despite what she described as an illegal suspension, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan insisted she never abandoned her constituents.
“Even though I was suspended illegally, I effectively carried out my duties as a senator to Kogi Central because I didn’t want them to suffer neglect,” she affirmed.
Her return marks a fresh chapter in the struggle for equity within the Senate, signaling that she intends to remain a strong voice for her people and an unyielding advocate against injustice.
