Nasser Fellowship Unveils Global Participation Statistics

The Nasser International Forum has announced key statistics for the latest edition of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership, highlighting a remarkable diversity of participants from across the world.

Hassan Ghazaly, anthropologist and founder of the Nasser International Forum, revealed that East Africa recorded the highest number of applicants after Egypt, followed by West Africa and then Asia.

In total, the fellowship attracted participants from 93 different nationalities, underscoring its global reach.

“Africa accounted for the largest share of applicants, followed by Asia, Europe, South America, North America, and even Australia and Antarctica,” Ghazaly stated.

He further noted that male applicants made up 60%, while female participants represented 40%, showcasing the fellowship’s commitment to gender balance.

Ghazaly emphasized that publishing these statistics aligns with the forum’s transparency principles and reinforces the fellowship’s success as an international hub for youth leadership, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

He reaffirmed the program’s dedication to supporting Global South initiatives, international justice, and sustainable development, in line with Egypt’s vision and UN goals.
