Nasarawa’s New Luxury Ride: Milestone in Transport

Nassrawa State Government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule says it has recorded a revolution in the transport sub-sector of the State with the launch of the state-of-the-art buses known as “Nasarawa Luxury Ride”.

The introduction of the new buses is no doubt, a milestone achievement by the current administration towards alleviating the current economic hardship, including high cost of road transportation to improve the living condition of residents of the State.

A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Public Affairs Mr. Peter Ahemba explained that, the new initiative would enhance efficiency and proper management of the buses, while the State Government has engaged the services of a renown transportation company to achieve set target.

“The new buses are designed to meet the transportation needs of residents of Nasarawa State. The buses boast advanced technology, ergonomic interiors, and superior fuel efficiency, making them an ideal choice for both short and long-distance journeys.

“The vehicles are also equipped with facilities to cater for the needs of elderly passengers, people with disabilities and families traveling with little children, thus ensuring inclusivity across all segments of the society and overall comfort.

The statement maintained that, the initiative is part of Government’s commitment to enhancing the transportation infrastructure and services in the State, with a view to improve the daily lives of residents and promote sustainable mobility options.

While emphasizing that this development marks the beginning of a new era of improved connectivity and accessibility within the state, adding that, it will make the residents and visitors of Nasarawa State have the opportunity to enjoy enhanced commuting experience, with subsidized fares, reduced travel times, increased comfort, and improved reliability.

“The new buses have formally been launched by State Governor at a ceremony held at the Yahaya Sabo Bus Terminal, Lafia. The Governor was represented at the event by the State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Adamu Gosho.

“In view of the foregoing, we
call on citizens to embrace this transformation and support the new public transportation system for the good of all and sundry. Indeed, the people’s Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule is Exceeding all Expectations.
