Katsina, 24th March 2025 – The Chairman of NAK General Merchants Ltd, Alhaji Akilu Hassan Mohd, has described the passing of Hajiya Safara’u Umar Radda as a great loss to the people of Katsina State and Nigeria at large.
In a heartfelt condolence message to the Katsina State Governor, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, Alhaji Akilu Hassan Mohd acknowledged that death is inevitable for every mortal, but the passing of an icon like Hajiya Safara’u leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.
He praised the late matriarch as a pillar of strength, who nurtured her family with passion and decorum, leaving behind a legacy of honor and service.
Praying for Allah’s mercy upon her soul, Alhaji Akilu Hassan Mohd extended his sympathies to the Radda family and the entire people of Katsina State, asking Allah to grant them the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Hajiya Safara’u Umar Radda passed away at the age of 93 and is survived by her children and grandchildren, including the incumbent Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda.
