Bauchi State Government is set to partner with the Nigeria Air force to improve Air security surveillance operations in some areas of Bauchi State which are identified as prone areas in term of insecurity within the communities in parts of the state.
Governor Bala Mohammed made an appeal to the Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar who paid a visit to the Governor at the newly completed Government House Bauchi.
Governor Bala commended the relentless effort of the Air Force personnel towards protecting lives and properties of the citizens.
The Governor while identifying some of the security prone areas that include Alkaleri, Ningi, Toro and Tafawa Balewa Local Government Areas acknowledged that the activities of the bandits and their collaborators have been crippled through intelligence and constant surveillance by security forces.
The Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Hassan Abubakar commended the State Chief Executive for establishing the special Agro Processing Zone with a view to complement the effort of Security operatives by providing food and job security in the State.
Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar said he came to Bauchi to discuss matters of mutual benefits between NAF and the state government and expressed readiness to maintain professionalism and cordial relationship with government at all levels, sister security agencies and civilians.
