Katsina State Special Adviser LG Inspectorate Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana on Monday inspected some newly constructed facilities at Yandaki Modern Market in Kaita local government area.
The projects were part of the N200M recently disbursed to Local Councils by state government to implement smaller projects that touches the lives of ordinary citizens in the respective areas.
Following a report on the completion of the projects, engineered the Special Adviser to physically justify the report thereby visited Yandaki Modern Market to clarify the report.
The projects include Abbatour with Slaughter Slaps, Cows and Goats marketing sections with one Marketing Stall in each section.
Having instant inspection of the project, Hon. Lawal Safana expressed dissatisfaction on the finishing touches of the entire project and observed the absence of water provision at the Abbatour which according to him must be provided.
Hon. Safana also faulted the flooring of the Meat Selling Centre and ordered to either provide tiles or terrazzo.
The Special Adviser also inspected the new Solar Powered Overhead Tank provided by the local council for the supply of portable water to Kaita community which was also part of the N200M projects.
He advised the Pump operating staff on how and when to operate it for satisfactory supply of water across Kaita Town.
