MLGCA: Inspectorate Appreciates Danmusa LGA

The Special Adviser LG Inspectorate of the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has appreciated the nature of some projects executed by Danmusa Local Government Council.

The S A Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana made this known in an interview shortly after inspecting some projects in Danmusa LGA.

The projects so far inspected include total renovations of Local Government Secretariat, Agric Mechanisation Centre (AMC), completed mechanical repairs for Semi Urban Scheme in Danmusa and Yantumaki.

Others are 420 Metre long drainage and culvert at Marar Zamfarawa and total rehabilitation and renovations of Mertanal Primary Health Care (MPHC) at Dandire Village .

“…since my appointment Six months ago I have not been able to visit Four local government areas for reasons of insecurity, these four Local government areas are Danmusa, Kankara, Sabuwa and Faskari, but because we have achieved community peace in these local government, I have been able to visit Danmusa and I have gone to places that were called the Bandit Danes in those days and I have seen what the local government has been able to do in those places and these are things that I only received in pictures and videos, but now I was able to go there and see for myself what the local government has been able to do that touches the lives of the communities.” He said.

Hon. Lawal Safana registered his satisfaction for complying with the Bill of Quantity and quality of the projects, only that some hitched areas were traced on some of the projects and directed for redress.

The Special Adviser commended the efforts of the local Council Chairman for execting such projects despite the spate of insecurity in the area.

On the part of the Chairman of LGA, Hon. Ibrahim Garba Maidabino applauded Radda administration for the autonomy given to LGAs in the state and pledged to go along with the administration to enhance viable programmes thst will impact positively to the rural communities.
