Minister Adelabu Pledges Northern Nigeria’s Power Restoration in 3 Days

The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has pledged to bring electricity back to Northern Nigeria within three days. Responding to senators’ concerns on Tuesday over ongoing power outages and grid failures, Adelabu assured that immediate steps are underway.

“Power will be restored to the North in two to three days,” Adelabu stated, revealing that the Ugwuaji-Makurdi transmission line will temporarily supply electricity. He also confirmed collaboration with security forces to regain access to grids currently impacted by vandalism.

With full repairs projected to finish in 14 days, Adelabu expressed confidence that this swift action would soon end the North’s power crisis.
