Minister of State for Defense, Dr. Bello Matawalle, has provided a detailed briefing to President Bola Tinubu on the Nigerian Armed Forces’ recent successes in the North West.
Accompanied by the Service Chiefs, Matawalle’s visit to Sokoto last month led to the neutralization of at least six notorious terrorist and bandit leaders, including Kachalla Sani-Black, Baleri Fakai, and Halilu Sububu.
These operations mark significant progress in the fight against insecurity in the region.
