Petroleum product marketers in Nigeria have expressed deep concerns over the recent decline in refinery prices, which have fallen from N1,200 to N1,000 and now N900 per litre.
In a letter to President Bola Tinibu, the marketers claim the price cuts are taking a toll on their businesses.
Devakumar Edwin, Vice President of Dangote Industries Limited, highlighted that while the price drop aims to make fuel more affordable, it is creating significant strain for distributors.
They are now seeking urgent intervention to address the challenges posed by the price fluctuations.
