Maiduguri Blast: Ngala Mourns Victims, Applauds Zulum’s Leadership

Maiduguri — Former pioneer Rector of Federal Polytechnic Monguno, Professor Garba Muhammed Ngala, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent suicide bomb attack in Maiduguri that claimed several lives and left more than 100 others injured.

In a press statement, Professor Ngala described the attack as tragic and disturbing, lamenting the continued loss of innocent lives and the strain on communal peace. He offered prayers for the repose of the deceased and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

He also extended heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Borno State, urging residents to remain united, vigilant, and supportive of efforts aimed at restoring lasting peace.

The former Rector commended Babagana Umara Zulum for his responsive and people-focused leadership, noting the Governor’s consistent commitment to citizens’ welfare and humanitarian interventions.

Professor Ngala further congratulated Governor Zulum on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, expressing hope that the lessons of the holy month would continue to promote compassion, discipline, and collective responsibility.

He concluded with prayers for enduring peace, stability, and unity in Borno State and Nigeria at large.
