The President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) conglomerate Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo has extended his condolences to the family of slain 5-yr-old schoolgirl, Hanifa Abubakar, who was kidnapped and brutally butchered by her teacher in Kano.
Gwarzo who described the news of the unfortunate incidence has terribly shocking, demanded that justice must be meted against the perpetrators.
“I am devastated and saddened over the terrible story of an innocent kidnapped little girl Hanifa, aged 5 that was gruesomely killed by her abductors after collecting part of the ransom demanded”. Prof. Gwarzo wrote on his Twitter and Facebook page.
The president who is currently away in France also sent his condolence greetings through his foundation Director and Technical Adviser, Musa Abdullahi Sufi, whom he has charged to visit the the family and take necessary measures.
Speaking further on the gruesome incidence, Prof. Gwarzo added ‘
“This criminal act from
heartless evil merciless human beings are touching beyond shedding tears and intense sadness.
“My condolence to the parent, family, and the entire humanity.”.
The MAAUN president’s message also appreciated the security agency for the arrest of Hanifa’s killer and his collaborators.
“We also appreciate the efforts of our security team for this giant success in tracking and arresting these criminals.
“Justice for Hanifa is now one of the most trending requests for Justice and I am sure the police and concerned justice system will do that aptly”.
His condolence message closed “May her soul rest in peace and give her parents and family the strength to cope with such shocking and devastating shock. Amin.”
