Leprosarium Applauds New Medicaments, Solar Glow

The Amanawa Hospital Authoriy has been commended for providing solar
street lights and medicaments to leper communities within and outside the
hospital.

The State Commissioner of Health, Hajiya Asebe Balarabe who gave the on the-spot commendation was at the Hospital to commission the project.

The whole leper colony and the hospital premises were lighted with solar
powered devices and provision of medicaments and vaccines to the hospital
residents and OPD patients alike.

Speaking at the occasion,Hajiya Asebe Balarabe commended the CMD Dr.Hassan Abubakar Aliyu for the giant stride towards improving service
delivery at the hospital.

She expressed satisfaction with what she saw on ground among the improved
service delivery put in place by the CMD of the Leprosy Community included.

The commissioner based on what she saw and met on ground called on other
CMD of hospitals in the state to emulate Amanawa hospital.

In another development,the Attahiru Bafarawa foundation has doled out
N50,000 toeach of the 119 hunger protesters arrested in Lagos,Abuja, and Kano states.

The DG of the foundation, Malam Abubakar Isiaku responding on behalf of the
freed miscreants thanked Bafarawa for coming to their aid and promised that he
will use the funds gifted judiciously to better their lives.
