In a bold move, members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) under the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have shut down the National Assembly as part of an indefinite strike.
The union has cut off electricity and water services to the Senate and House of Representatives buildings, disrupting amenities across the National Assembly compound.
