The incident, part of the #EndBadGovernance protests demanding economic reforms and the reinstatement of fuel subsidies, has sparked outrage.
In a statement, Amnesty International highlighted the need for an inquiry into the actions of security agencies and alleged hired thugs.
They emphasized that failing to investigate the killings would undermine the rule of law and perpetuate impunity in Nigeria.
