Kogi Youths Splash ₦100M for Tinubu’s APC Nomination Form

Borno State Government

Youths from Kogi State have made a bold political statement, donating ₦100 million in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for re-election in the 2027 general elections.

The donation was formally handed over at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Headquarters in Abuja, with Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo leading the delegation. The group was received by APC National Chairman Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda in a brief yet symbolic ceremony at the party’s secretariat.

Governor Ododo hailed the contribution as a “powerful expression of grassroots support” for the President, particularly from young Nigerians. “This contribution by our youths clearly demonstrates their belief in President Tinubu’s leadership and their readiness to support him for another term,” he said.

Chairman Yilwatda described the donation as a patriotic, voluntary act, underscoring the growing political engagement of Nigeria’s youth. He further noted that the ₦100 million is sufficient to cover the President’s nomination form, eliminating the need for additional contributions.

According to the Kogi youths, the funds were mobilized through community-driven initiatives and fundraising, reflecting widespread enthusiasm for the President’s reforms in infrastructure, security, and economic growth.

The APC leadership thanked the donors and reaffirmed its commitment to youth participation and inclusive governance, signaling that the next election season is already heating up.
