Kogi Govt Slams Rumors: Gov Ododo Firmly Stays with APC

The Kogi State Government has fiercely debunked rumors that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is planning to defect from the All Progressives Congress (APC), calling the report “reckless and blatantly false.”

In a statement, Commissioner for Information and Communications Kingsley Femi Fanwo criticized the media for spreading misinformation, urging journalists to uphold the tenets of their profession.

Fanwo stressed that it is “unintelligent” to suggest that Governor Ododo would abandon the party that stood by him throughout his election campaign and legal battles, especially after their recent Supreme Court victory.

He assured the people of Kogi that Governor Ododo remains a steadfast member of the APC, committed to the party’s success both in Kogi State and across the nation.
