Kogi Constituents Demand Reversal of Senator Natasha’s Suspension, Warn Against Recall Move

Concerned constituents of Kogi Central Senatorial District have called for the immediate reversal of the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, warning against any attempt to initiate a recall process.

The residents, including political stakeholders and civil society groups, described the suspension as unjust and politically motivated, insisting that the senator was elected to represent their interests, not to be silenced.

At a rally in Lokoja, the protesters held placards with inscriptions such as “Natasha is Our Voice,” and “Stop Political Witch-hunt.” They cautioned against any maneuver to undermine her mandate, vowing to resist any recall attempt.

“We elected her to serve, and any move to suppress her will be met with strong resistance,” a spokesperson for the group said.
