Investors ready to partner with the Kano State Government in mining activities have been assured of their safety and protection while in the state.
The Commissioner Ministry of Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Alhaji Safiyanu Hamza Kachako disclosed this, Wednesday while receiving in his office, the Managing Director of a Mining Firm, Zarthwish Company, Mr. Alex Zhang.
The Commissioner explained that both foreign nationals and Nigerians seeking to collaborate with the State government to establish Mining Factories within the state would surely have a safe environment to operate.
He reiterated commitment to displaying an everlasting sound and harmonious working relationship with such Investors with a view to providing employment opportunities and enhancing state internal revenue, community development and safe guarding the environment from destruction as a result of the factories activities.
The Managing Director of Zarthwish Company, Mr. Alex Zhang, who is a Chinese expressed gratitude with warm reception accorded him by the Commissioner and expressed optimism with the abundance deposits of different Solid Minerals in Kano considering the variety of the laboratory analysed samples displayed for him by the Commissioner and Director Solid Minerals Exploration, Alhaji Muhammad Bala during the interactive meeting.
Mr. Alex Zhang pledged to study the offer by the Commissioner carefully and analyse which area of mining activity, his company will collaborate with Kano State Government to achieve the target goals.
