Governor Nasir Idris has reaffirmed the dominance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State, declaring that the ruling party remains firmly rooted as the preferred choice of the people.
Speaking after a high-level APC stakeholders’ meeting at the Presidential Banquet Hall in Birnin Kebbi, the governor said the gathering was convened to strengthen unity, cohesion, and strategic direction within party ranks.
Idris expressed confidence that the APC’s grip on the state remains unshaken, citing the continued loyalty and support of Kebbi residents.
“The people of Kebbi believe in the APC, they love the APC, and they will continue to deliver victory for the party at all levels,” he stated.
The meeting brought together key political heavyweights, including Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, former governor Saidu Usman Dakingari, as well as Muhammad Adamu Aliero and Yahaya Abdullahi, alongside members of the National Assembly and the State House of Assembly.
Observers say the show of unity at the meeting sends a strong signal of the APC’s readiness to maintain its political stronghold in Kebbi as future elections draw closer.
Party insiders also hinted that the renewed alignment among stakeholders could further consolidate APC’s structure and electoral advantage in the state.
