Katsina State has emerged first in the category of states’ participation at the 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair 2026, a recognition of the state’s active engagement and impressive showcase throughout the event.
The Katsina State delegation, led by Hon. Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, represented the state throughout the fair, highlighting its economic potential and vibrant exhibits.
The award was presented to Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda today, on the sidelines of the State Executive Council meeting. The presentation was made by Hon. Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, Commissioner for Commerce, alongside the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Hajiya Aishatu Abdullahi.
Speaking at the presentation, officials lauded Katsina’s dynamic pavilion, which attracted numerous visitors, including potential investors eager to explore opportunities in the state. They emphasized that the recognition reflects the administration’s continuous efforts to attract investments, boost trade, and showcase Katsina’s rich economic resources.
The Kaduna International Trade Fair provided Katsina a platform to strengthen its national presence and promote its diverse economic opportunities, spanning agriculture, industry, tourism, and commerce.
