
Katsina state government has reiterated it’s commitment towards exploring businesses opportunities in the state.
The Deputy Governor Alhaji Mannir Yakubu stated this when commissioning state Office of raw materials research development Council.
The Deputy Governor represented by the Director General Katsina Investment Promotion Agency Ibrahim Tukur Jiƙamshi said, the centre would serve as research centre to academia, students, as well as investers.
He note that the Centre created awareness to the people on available resources in Katsina State so as to explore them for use.
Earlier the Director General Raw Materials Research Development Centre Professor Hussaini Ibrahim Doko represented by a Director in the centre Dr Olubemi said, Katsina state Centre was the first to be commissioned out of four established in the country.
According to him, Katsina state possessed all the needed requirements for take up of the centre.
In a remark the state coordinator of the Centre Alh Sani Maikuɗi said, the centre would help in promoting raw materials in the state.
It also showcase the available raw materials in the country.
