The Katsina State PRP Governorship Candidate in 2023 general elections, Alh.
Imrana Jino and some elites are preparing grounds to drag the Federal Government
and Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) before the court for causing heavy
damages to Northerner properties due outage electricity.
Jino who served as the spokesman of the group planning to drag FG/TCN before
the court spoke to pressmen on Thursday in Katsina.
He said that people in the 17 Northern states had recorded huge losses du4e to the
power failure.
“Our people have recorded losses in their Electrical appliance, food, lost of lives
other materials and Business.
“We have printed forms that we will place it in the social media to collect names of
victims and item lost.
We are demanding for compensation of the great lost recorded by our people he
said.
Jino revealed that they had contacted their lawyers who will drag the two corporate
bookies the court for compensation of damages recorded by their people.
