In a determined effort to curb kidnapping and banditry, the Katsina State Police Command, led by CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, successfully rescued a 26-year-old kidnapping victim on October 24, 2024.
Mubarak Haruna, abducted a month ago while traveling on the Katsina-Magamar Jibia road, was freed during a routine patrol in Kukar Babangida village, Jibia LGA.
The victim, currently receiving medical attention, had been held captive since his abduction near Kwarare village.
Police have intensified their investigation, aiming to apprehend the kidnappers.
