Katsina Police Nab Two Suspects Aiding Banditry, Recover Rustled Animals

In a decisive move against banditry, Katsina State Police Command, led by CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, has arrested two suspects and recovered stolen livestock.On July 25, 2024, at 10:15 AM, a patrol by Jibia police, Community Watch Corps, and local hunters apprehended Abubakar Yahaya (35) and Muhammadu Ayatullahi (25) of Zandam village.

They were caught near Magama cemetery with two rams, a sheep, and a goat, suspected to be rustled.

The suspects confessed to receiving the animals from notorious bandit leader Nura of Mazanya village, now at large.
