The Katsina State Police Command has successfully trained 525 newly passed-out constables in combat operations and advanced weapons handling. The training took place at the 27 PMF Squadron, Katsina, under the directive of Commissioner of Police CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, psc(+).
The intensive program aligns with the vision of Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, to build a professionally competent and service-driven police force. Key areas covered included core policing duties, crisis management, tactical weapons training, and professional conduct.
Speaking at the passing-out ceremony, CP Musa emphasized the importance of continuous training to maintain discipline, integrity, and professionalism in the force. He also commended the Katsina State Government, led by Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, for its logistical support in making the program a success.
The CP reaffirmed the command’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and properties in Katsina State.
