Katsina Police arrest Suspected Kidnappers

The command succeeded in arresting the duo of one (1) Usman Abubakar alias “Dangaske”, ‘M’, aged 22 years of Kanbiri village, Safana LGA and (2) Yusufa Ibrahim, ‘M’, aged 30yrs, notorious kidnappers, who specialize in threatening unsuspecting members of the public through phone calls and demanding for ransom or risked been kidnapped or killed.
Nemesis caught up with the suspects when they conspired and called one Abdulbasiru Salisu, ‘m’, of Shema village, Dutsinma LGA, on phone threatening him to deposit the sum of two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000:00) into a GT Bank Account number provided by the suspects or risked been kidnapped.
In the course of investigation, suspects were traced and arrested.
They confessed to the commission of the offence and other similar offences. Investigation is ongoing.
