In preparation for the Eid-El-Adha festivities, the Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced the deployment of 2,050 personnel.
Commandant Jamilu A. Indabawa revealed this strategy during a briefing with senior management, emphasizing the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure.”All personnel deployed are to work diligently to maintain safety and security for the good people of the state,” Commandant Indabawa stated.
He highlighted the importance of synergy with other security agencies to ensure a smooth celebration.
Special focus will be on prayer grounds, recreational centers, motor parks, markets, and festive locations in Katsina and Daura Emirate Councils.
DCC Nuhu Dalha, Head of Operations, confirmed that both covert and overt personnel are detailed to provide timely responses and actionable intelligence to counter any miscreant activities.
The NSCDC encourages the public to report any suspicious activities to the nearest office.
Commandant Indabawa extended heartfelt Eid-El-Kabir greetings to all Muslim faithful, wishing for a peaceful celebration.
