Katsina NSCDC, FRSC Strengthen Security Partnership

The Katsina State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to deepen collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in promoting safety and security across the state.

This renewed partnership was highlighted during a courtesy visit by the NSCDC State Commandant, CC A.D. Moriki (Acti, Anim), to the FRSC Sector Commander, Corps Commander Maxwell K. Lede, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the FRSC Command Headquarters in Katsina.

Commandant Moriki, while addressing the FRSC team, commended the existing cordial relationship between the two agencies and stressed the importance of strengthening inter-agency cooperation to safeguard lives, ensure road safety, and protect Critical National Assets and Infrastructure within the state.

He thanked the Sector Commander for the warm reception accorded to him and his delegation, assuring that the NSCDC will continue to work closely with the FRSC to enhance operational efficiency and community safety.

In his response, Corps Commander Lede welcomed the new State Commandant and expressed delight at the visit, describing it as a positive step toward consolidating mutual trust and teamwork. He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration to address emerging security and safety challenges in the state.

The visit featured an inspection of the quarter guard by the State Commandant, the presentation of souvenirs, and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
