Katsina MHWUN Elects New Officials

The Katsina branch of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria, MHWUN has elected new Executive officials that will run the affairs of the Union for the next four years.
The New Exco were Elected during yearly delegates conference on Wednesday in Katsina.
The Exco were elected through an affirmation method that produced Bashir Ibrahim Gyaza as the new chairman and Aminu Musa Wambai as Treasurer others are Vice chairman,Trustee, PRO and Auditor.

In his post election speech, the new Chairman promised to follow the footsteps of his predecessor who uplifted the welfare of their members.
In his remarks during a farewell speech, the outgoing chairman, Alhaji Mannir Suleiman thanked the entire members for giving him maximum support and cooperation that made to provide many services that improved the welfare of the members.
Also, in his remarks, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Chairman Hussaini Hamisu Yanduna urged the entire Katsina state workers to exercise more patience for the implementation of the new Nigerian minimum wage.
Yanduna disclosed that the state government is waiting to see the new minimum wage template with a view to understanding how the workers take home will be implemented.
He commended the entire state workers for the way they have been exercise maturity and understanding about the minimum wage.
