Katsina LG Poll: Ex-President Buhari Votes in Daura

Former President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday cast his vote in the ongoing local government elections in Katsina State. He voted at polling unit 003, Sarkin Yarn A ward in his hometown, Daura.

Accompanied by the Katsina State Commissioner of Special Duties, Adnan Na-Habu Daura, Buhari arrived at the polling unit and exercised his civic duty at exactly 11:09 am.

His participation underscores the significance of grassroots democracy, as voters across the state elect their chairmen and councillors. The election is seen as a key test for democratic governance at the local level in Katsina.
