The Katsina State Government, under Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has invested over ₦160 billion to boost security and improve citizens’ welfare since 2023.
Dr. Nasiru Muazu, Commissioner for Internal Security, highlighted a ₦30 billion spend on security, including the engagement of 1,462 Community Watch Corps personnel, at the state’s 2025 Citizens Budget Participation Process.
Additionally, ₦130 billion has been allocated to local projects, with ₦86 billion supporting salaries and benefits.
The government also invested ₦13 billion in fertilizers and ₦2 billion in scholarships and palliatives, underscoring a commitment to both security and social welfare.
