Katsina CSO’s charge NASS Members to Stop White Elephant projects

Katsina state coalition of civil society organization  has charged     all the serving members of the National Assembly from the state to stop executing white elephant project in their areas.

“CSO’s” advise the members to put all their efforts and the resources to protect the lives and properties of the people of their areas.

Dr.Bashir Ruwan Godiya the spokes man of the coalition stated this during a town hall meeting organized by katsina state government on Thursday in Katsina.

He said that the citizen of katsina are currently under undue pressure of insecurity that will not allow them to enjoy the the constituency projects executed by the members.

The chairman call on the members to prevail on the Federal government to put all their security machineries to exterminate the security challenges in the state.

Ruwan Godiya further called on all the members to put together all the 80 million naira given to each of them quarterly to fight the insecurity bedeviling  the state.

He said that fighting insecurity is every body’s business as such the members should not leave the matter to the federal and the state government.

The chairman charged the members to wake up from their slumber and do the needful to salvage their people from hunger and,starvation and untimely death.

He said that the members should support security Agencies with working equipments that will assist them to fight banditry that had flushed rural folks from their Hamlets, villages and towns in the state.
