Katsina Citizen Urges Tinubu to Address Socio-Economic Hardship

A concerned citizen in Katsina State, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, members of the Federal Executive Council, political office holders and other elected representatives of the people, to take urgent action to reduce the current socio-economic hardship facing Nigerians.

The call was made by Engineer Hassan Sani Jikan Malan, who passionately appeals for those in power to act decently and elicit an iota of the human milk of kindness to their fellow countrymen.

According to him the call become imperative considering the situation of the country in all aspects of human endevour, in the country, that hardly seems alive to those struggling to survive each and every the sun rises.

Engineer Hassan Jikan Malan added that the various programs initiated by the Federal Government, to cushion the effects of poverty, as a result of subsidy removal is not enough, and more must be done by the Government, which choose this line of action for the Nation.

Engineer Hassan Sani Jikan Malan reiterated that, this unbearable situation is rapidly degenerating into something akin to chaos, with the country is becoming filled with despair, despondency and unbearable outcomes.

He cited the example with the uncontrollable rise of prices of essential commodities, near constant shortage of electricity supply, as well as Petrol and Gas among others, across the country, which in the eyes of most Nigerians is beyond untenable.

Engineer Hassan Jikan Malan also called on Federal Legislators to liase with the Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and the Speaker of the National Assembly to come with modalities aimed at providing succour to the less priviledged in the country.

He also appealed to the Senate and the National Assembly, to provide the electorates in their constituencies with enough start up capital and foodstuff, to alleviate their suffering .

The grassroot Politician applauded the judgement of Apex court for full financial Autonomy granted to the 774 Local Government Councils in the country including the FCT ,which according to him is the way forward for democracy, as well as giving the third tier of Government, which is also the closest to the people, breathing space, for true democratic governance.

Engineer Hassan Jikan Malan also appealed to electorate to intensify prayers for a bumper harvest in this year’s rainy season, urging them to pray for a definite end to the challenges of insecurity, faced in some parts of the country .
